Inside the room where it all began

A recap of the Women's Month Celebration and the panel discussion that started something bigger than I ever imagined.

The Women's Month Celebration at Mint Room Miami was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. It was the official launch of this new chapter of my life and my personal brand. And I could not have imagined a more perfect way to begin.

For those of you who were there, thank you! For those of you who couldn't make it, I want you to feel like you were in that room too. So let me take you inside.

What happened in that room

The morning kicked off with the most beautiful energy. Every single brand in that space was women-owned and intentional. Women were connecting, shopping, getting headshots, enjoying nail treatments, sipping on drinks, and simply being present with each other. That alone was worth everything.

But then we sat down for the panel discussion and that is where things got really real.

My dear friend Sabrina from Roseway Collective led the conversation in the most genuine, warm, and powerful way. It was never a formal interview. It was a fireside chat between friends, in a room full of women who showed up for each other. And the conversations we had? I want to share the highlights with you.

Nothing replaces real connection. Real women in a real room having real conversations.

On community and why this event existed

My first business, Taudrey, was literally built on community. Women showed up for me at pop-ups, at our anniversary events, at vision board nights. Every milestone I have ever had has been because of women like the ones in that room on Saturday.

We live in a world of algorithms and personal brands and AI. But what I have always believed is that nothing replaces real human connection. And I wanted to launch this next chapter during Women's Month because everything I do is rooted in women lifting each other up. That is not a tagline for me. That is my life.

On Taudrey and closing that chapter

This was the part of the conversation I knew would be emotional. And it was. And I am glad it was.

Taudrey will always be mine. I created it, I built it, I poured everything into it, and I am so proud of what it became. But I am no longer operating the brand or part of the day-to-day team. I passed the baton and that chapter has closed for me.

Here is what I said that I want every woman reading this to hear: it would have been easier to stay. Easier to keep going, keep my title, keep the comfort of what I knew. But easier is not always right. Women carry so much in silence. We make hard decisions alone. We smile and say we are fine and figure it out by ourselves.

Making the hard choice is sometimes the bravest thing you can do. Build your village. Lean on your people. And know that you do not have to go through hard things alone.

Transitions don't have to mean starting over. They can mean evolving. And sometimes the thing you're becoming is bigger than the thing you were.

On what comes next

What is next is me. The full, real, unfiltered version of me. Not just the entrepreneur. Not just the founder. But the mom, the woman, the mentor, all of it.

My new brand and website are built around five pillars that define my life: entrepreneurship, motherhood, lifestyle, philanthropy, and empowering women. Everything I create going forward will live under one of those pillars.

Now I get to build something that is just me. And that is terrifying and exciting and I would not trade it for anything.

And I want every woman reading this to hear this too: you are allowed to change your mind. You are allowed to evolve. You are allowed to say that was amazing, and now I want something different. We can be brave and push ourselves toward something more, even when it is scary. Especially when it is scary.
